About International ICT Council
International Information and Communication Technology Council (International ICT Council) is a non-profit organization formed by academicians, industry practitioners and professionals of the ICT industry internationally. Members include practitioners from all levels in broad range of ICT industries. International ICT Council is designated for having the skills, professionalism and morality of members.
The Council develops standard curriculum in a vendor neutral manner and establish an examination board as a means of skill transfer, and collaborates with vendor of very specific domains to effectively transfer knowledge and promote the ICT industry.
International ICT Council recognizes that pursuing certified status is well common in most developed countries where technology development flourish, whilst it is equally or sometimes even more important for people to get certified in many developing countries. On the other hand, male and female are having equal opportunities to achieve technology education in most developed countries, whilst the opportunity may not be the same in many developing countries. The International ICT Council formulates strategies to cater the need in different regions.
Besides, the International ICT Council facilitates peer interaction to build and enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members. From regular meetings of the members, professionals from education, information technology, communications and government can work together to promote the ICT business environment and solve recent problems related to the ICT industry. In sum, the Council initiates alliance between members towards the development of the industry and channels communication between different areas.
