One of the world events, International Telecommunication Union TELECOM WORLD 2006, which is held in different cities once every three years, is going to take place on 4^th – 8^th December (Monday - Friday) in Hong Kong. As part of its members in the industry, International ICT Council joins to exhibit in the show.

The main purpose of holding this event is to gather different corporations and expertise from all over the world in the industry and exchange information. It offers a platform for participants to meet industry leaders, government and regulatory bodies, as well as media and journalists.

The recent event held in Geneva 2003 attracted more than 900 exhibitors representing 51 countries. Nearly 1500 journalist and 120 industry analysts from all over the world attended the event as well. This year, so far over 400 exhibitors from 33 counties will be able to exhibit in the event. Moreover, the event venue, AsiaWorld Expo locates near the Hong Kong International Airport, with well-facilitated transportation system, it is convenient to visitors to reach the venue.
